How we keep your business and your books safe
Accountants work at your office, on your computer. Here is what Accountee checks and controls around every visit.
Checked accountants
PAN, Aadhaar and bank account are verified. Every accountant passes a practical test and a supervised trial visit before working alone.
Codes start and end every visit
Hours count only between your start code and your end code. Codes expire after 10 minutes and lock after 5 wrong tries.
Work stays at your desk
The accountant works on your computer and your software. Your books are not uploaded to Accountee — only a short work log of what was done.
Private contact details
Accountants see your business name and address only after you pay, and never your phone number or email. You never see theirs.
Money held until the work is done
Payments go through Razorpay. The accountant's share is paid out only for completed visits, every Monday.
KYC documents kept private
KYC documents are stored privately and opened only by Accountee staff through links that expire in minutes. We keep only the last 4 digits of bank accounts.
